Mini Walk for Children

We are hosting a mini Najaf to Kerbala walk for children to be accompanied by one adult at the New Hyderi on Sunday 26th September 2021.
This is an amazing opportunity for the children to experience the Arbeean walk from home.
We will be recreating it by having posts/poles and mawkebs along the trail from Najaf to Kerbala.
The walk will be approximately 2 hours long during which the children will be visiting the mawkebs and stations learning about the history of tears, supported with various activities and crafts.
We have 3 slots available for you to choose from.
Date: Sunday 26th September 2021
Time: 11am-1pm
2pm- 4pm
5pm- 7pm
Ages 3-10years
• Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn. Please bring a backpack.
• Limited spaces, buy tickets to reserve a place.
• First come first serve basis.
•All children must be accompanied by a Parent/guardian.
• £10 per child and siblings £5
• Proper hijab mandatory for all adults.
We would like to remind you that we are recreating an Arbaeen procession. We ask you to remind your child that this is a mourning period and to be humble, quiet and respect what we are going to see and do in the walk. This is a learning event and not a socialising event and we encourage you to social distance as much as possible.
