Our Aim & Ethos

Our Foundation: Spiritual and Educational Growth

We offer a unique Dual Curriculum, which combines the established Islamic curriculum with the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. This fusion fosters both spiritual and educational growth.

Our educational programme is designed to enrich young minds with good manners and Islamic values, while also promoting British Values to help children respect diversity, individuality, and community. Our overarching goal is to prepare children for their next steps in education while nurturing their faith, values, and sense of belonging

We are dedicated to providing a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where children can flourish. We encourage learning through play, creativity, and discovery.

This methodology ensures children thrive and develop into confident, curious learners within a warm and friendly environment designed to promote happy, confident, fulfilled children
Our team consists of qualified, friendly, and caring staff who are committed to providing the best possible start in life. These dedicated staff members offer bilingual support for your children, which helps to encourage confidence and creativity
We work to build strong parent partnerships and actively welcome parents as partners in our Nursery Community. Our efforts are focused on supporting children in becoming school-ready.

We ensure every child is supported both at the nursery and at home, using platforms like Blossom to keep parents involved in their children’s learning and development.

A Balanced Journey: EYFS Meets Islamic Values

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children’s learning and development across all areas. This is complemented by a unique Islamic curriculum

Islamic Curriculum Focus

Children gain a strong foundation in academic skills and moral values through learning about:

• The life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his family.

• Surahs and Duas.

• Daily prayers.

• Core values of kindness, respect, and responsibility

Children will learn Surahs including Al Hamd, Al Ahad (Qul), Falaq (Qul), Naas (Qul), Kafirun (Qul), and others throughout the year.

Parent Partnership & Support

We work in strong partnership with parents, welcoming you as partners in our Nursery Community. Our goal is to prepare children for their next steps in education while nurturing their faith, values, and sense of belonging.

Parent Involvement

At Hyderi Nursery, we believe in strong parent partnerships and open communication. Through the Blossom platform, parents stay involved in their child’s learning and development, with regular meetings to discuss progress and next steps.

As an inclusive setting, our in-house SENCO works closely with families and the council’s SEND team to provide tailored support for children of all abilities. Our gentle two-week settling-in process helps each child adjust comfortably, starting with shorter sessions and gradually building up, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into nursery life.
